Mythological Greece

by Richard W. Schamus

This LEGO Pegasus is priceless, I had to build one right away! Richard has a whole pantheon of other mythological creatures on his webpage (link below) although it took some surgical skill to construct some of them!

This is Richard's main entry, the Temple of Technic. It is a part of Greek mythology that most of us never heard about but as LEGO fans we can fully appreciate. Richard says "The God Technic is charged with the movement of the heavens. He moves the sun and the moon, and causes the stars to move in the sky. Although he was not the creator of the legoverse, he placed order and structure upon it."

This is the statue of the god Technic in the main chamber of the temple. Technic weilds a staff with a gear, his chosen symbol of power. There is a sleeping acolyte in an adjoining room. Richard's temple is filled with beautiful and intricate detail including cleverly thought out half brick offsets and a chandelier worthy of the god Technic himself.
